Privacy policy
Last updated: 7 September 2026
Triple One Designs Australia (“Triple One Designs”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates this website and provides personalised apparel, gifts, custom printing, group orders and related services. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling personal information responsibly.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect personal information when you visit www.tripleonedesigns.com.au, place an order, upload artwork, contact us, subscribe to marketing, leave a review or otherwise interact with our services.
We handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to us.
1. Personal information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with us and may include:

Payment information
Payments are processed securely by Shopify and the payment providers available at checkout. Those providers may collect complete payment-card or financial-account information. Triple One Designs generally receives limited payment and transaction information, such as the payment method, payment status, transaction reference and the last digits of a card, rather than complete card details. Payment providers handle information in accordance with their own privacy policies and security requirements.
Information about another person
If you provide personal information about another person—for example, a photograph, name or delivery address—you confirm that you are authorised to provide it and to allow us and our service providers to use it for the purposes described in this policy.
Please do not submit confidential or highly sensitive information that is not required for your order.
2. How we collect personal information
We may collect personal information:
- directly from you when you browse the website, create an account, place an order, submit custom details or artwork, request a quote, contact us, subscribe or leave a review;
- automatically through cookies, pixels and similar technologies when you use the website;
- from Shopify, payment providers, delivery providers and other services used to operate our business;
- from advertising, analytics, email-marketing and social-media platforms when you interact with our advertisements or communications; and
- from another person who places an order, requests a quote or contacts us on your behalf.
3. Why we use personal information
We may use personal information to:
- provide products and services and perform our agreement with you;
- personalise, prepare, print, quality-check and fulfil custom orders;
- prepare artwork proofs and communicate about approvals or changes;
- process payments, refunds, returns, exchanges and other transactions;
- prepare group-order quotes and discuss garment, artwork, quantity and delivery requirements;
- arrange delivery and provide dispatch and tracking notifications;
- respond to questions, complaints and customer-support requests;
- maintain customer accounts and order histories;
- detect fraud, misuse, security incidents and other unlawful or unsafe activity;
- operate, analyse, troubleshoot and improve our website, products, advertising and customer experience;
- send marketing communications where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law;

- comply with legal, regulatory, insurance and law-enforcement requirements.
Use of customer artwork
Customer photographs, names and artwork are used only as reasonably necessary to prepare and fulfil the requested order, communicate with you, resolve an order issue or comply with legal requirements. We do not publish customer artwork, use it in advertising or share it on social media without permission.
4. Customer artwork and photo retention
We normally remove customer-uploaded photographs and artwork from our active working files within one week after the order is completed. We may retain a working copy for longer if:
- you ask us to keep it temporarily for an agreed repeat order;
- it is needed to investigate or resolve an order, payment, delivery or legal issue; or
- retention is required by law.
Limited copies, links or records may remain for longer in Shopify order records, app-provider systems, secure backups or system logs where immediate deletion is not technically possible. Those copies are subject to the applicable provider’s retention processes and are not used by us for unrelated purposes.
If you would like us to confirm deletion of an uploaded file, contact us using the details at the end of this policy.
5. Children’s information
Our website is intended for use by adults and we do not knowingly accept orders directly from children. However, an adult customer may provide a child’s name, photograph or other information for a personalised product.
By submitting information about a child, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or guardian, or that you otherwise have authority to provide the information and authorise its use for the order. We use that information only for the purposes described in this policy and normally remove uploaded photographs and artwork from our active working files within one week after the order is completed.
If you believe a child has provided information to us without appropriate permission, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
6. Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website and service providers use cookies, tracking pixels, tags and similar technologies. These technologies may:
- keep the website and checkout functioning;
- remember customer, cart and preference information;
- help prevent fraud and maintain security;
- measure website traffic and understand how visitors use the website;
- measure advertising and marketing performance;
- personalise content, product recommendations and advertising; and
- support email subscription forms and campaign measurement.
Services used on our website may include Shopify and Shop, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta/Facebook advertising tools, Klaviyo and Instagram feed services. These providers may collect device, cookie, usage and interaction information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
You can manage certain privacy and cookie choices through any privacy controls displayed on our website and through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the website, account features or checkout function.
Depending on your location and the privacy controls enabled for our store, you may also have the right to opt out of certain targeted advertising or data-sharing activities. You may contact us for assistance with a privacy request.
7. Email marketing
If you subscribe to our marketing, we may send promotional emails about products, launches, offers and news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in a marketing email. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending necessary service messages about an order, payment, account or enquiry.
We may use Klaviyo and Shopify marketing tools to manage subscriptions, forms and email communications. These services may record delivery, opening, clicking and subscription activity.
8. When we disclose personal information

9. Shopify’s role
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify collects and processes information about access to and use of the store to provide ecommerce, checkout, security, personalisation and other services. Information submitted through the store is shared with Shopify and may also be processed by Shopify’s service providers.
Some Shopify features may use information about interactions with our store and other merchants to improve Shopify services, prevent fraud, personalise experiences or support advertising. Shopify is responsible for certain processing it performs for its own purposes.
You can learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and use the Shopify Privacy Portal to exercise rights relating to information processed by Shopify.
10. Overseas processing and disclosure
Some of our service providers operate or use systems outside Australia. Personal information may therefore be transferred to or processed in countries including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States and other countries in which those providers or their subcontractors operate.
Privacy and data-protection laws in other countries may differ from Australian law. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and require information to be handled consistently with applicable privacy obligations.
11. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Measures may include password-protected systems, restricted access, reputable ecommerce and payment providers, software updates and secure disposal practices.
No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. Please do not send payment-card details, identity documents or other highly sensitive information through ordinary email, social-media messages or website contact forms.
If we become aware of a data breach, we will assess and respond to it and make notifications where required by applicable law.
12. How long we retain other information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to fulfil orders, provide support, maintain records, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations.
Retention periods vary by information type:
- Uploaded artwork and photographs: normally removed from our active working files within one week after the order is completed, subject to the exceptions described above.
- Order, payment and accounting records: retained for the periods required by taxation, accounting, consumer and other applicable laws, which will commonly be at least five years.
- Customer-support and complaint records: retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain an appropriate record and resolve related issues.
- Marketing information: retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, subject to limited suppression records used to respect an unsubscribe request.
- Customer-account information: retained while the account remains active and as reasonably required afterwards for legal and business purposes.
- Analytics, cookie and advertising information: retained in accordance with our settings and the retention practices of the relevant provider.
When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, destroy or de-identify it. Copies may remain temporarily in secure backups or provider systems until their normal deletion cycles are completed.
13. Accessing or correcting your information
You may contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you or to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also have rights to request deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. These rights are not absolute and may be subject to identity verification, legal record-keeping requirements and other permitted exceptions.
To protect customer information, we may ask you to verify your identity and provide information that allows us to locate the relevant records. We will respond within a reasonable period and explain any lawful reason why a request cannot be fulfilled in full.
14. Privacy complaints
If you have a question or complaint about how we handle personal information, please email support@tripleonedesigns.com.au with the subject line “Privacy Complaint”. Include enough information for us to understand and investigate the issue.
We will acknowledge a privacy complaint as soon as reasonably practicable, aim to provide a response within 30 days, and let you know if additional time or information is required.
If you are not satisfied with our response and the Privacy Act applies, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner:

15. Third-party websites and platforms
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, social-media services or other platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy, security or content of services we do not control. Please review the relevant provider’s privacy policy before submitting information to it.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our business, website, service providers, legal obligations or information-handling practices. The current version will be published on this website with an updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of a material change.
