this is a banner i have started, thoughts, feedback, show me the best design This is the layout I’d use as the final direction. It’s cleaner, more professional and gives the customer an obvious next action. Your original was already strong, especially: The family photograph and black/white shirts Clear service-focused heading Pink, black and white branding The soft fade between the wording and photograph The main weaknesses were the missing call-to-action, the large empty space in the centre-left, and the crowded feature strip along the bottom. Those tiny feature descriptions would also be difficult to read on a phone—and you already communicate the same benefits further down the homepage. The improved design: Keeps one strong headline Explains exactly what customers can upload Adds a prominent CREATE YOUR OWN button Changes “Australia Wide” to the more natural “across Australia” Condenses the selling points into one readable line Removes the duplicate feature strip Gives the family and wording much better balance I’d recreate this layout in Canva using your original family photo and branding elements, then make a separate mobile version. Don’t rely on Shopify automatically cropping this desktop banner—the boy and some important wording could be cut off. Edit what do you think of this? This is the strongest layout. The customer can understand the offer and see what to click within seconds. Use this structure in Canva with your original family image: Children’s names demonstrate simple personalisation. Parents demonstrate artwork and text uploads. The CTA fills the previous empty area. The trust details remain visible without the crowded bottom strip. The hierarchy feels much cleaner and more premium. If your Shopify banner supports a real button, add the CREATE YOUR OWN button through Shopify rather than baking it into the image—that makes it properly clickable and easier to adjust on mobile. Then we’ll create a separate mobile banner. Edit Much better. These now look like genuine personalised products rather than placeholder names: MIA: playful, pink and stylish without looking too young. JACK: bold, sporty and visually balanced with Mia’s design. this is how i currently have it set up Great. Before adding the new code, we need to protect the other product using this template. Your screenshot shows design-your-own is assigned to two products, but the new fields will be specific to the T-shirt. Step 2: Create a dedicated T-shirt template Open Online Store → Themes → Customise. Click the template selector at the top where it says design-your-own. Select Products. Click Create template. Name it: design-your-own-tshirt Base it on: design-your-own Click Create template. Go back to Shopify Admin → Products. Open the Design Your Own Custom T-Shirt. Under Theme template, select: design-your-own-tshirt Click Save. It should initially look exactly the same because it’s copied from the existing template. Once assigned, we can safely replace its current text and upload code without changing the second product. Tell me when that template is created and assigned. done Great—the dedicated template is now safe to edit. Step 3: Get the working onesie code We need to copy the proven onesie structure before replacing anything. In the Theme Customizer, preview the Design Your Own Colour Onesie. Open its product template. Expand Product information in the left panel. Find the Custom Liquid block containing its: Custom text Front artwork Back artwork Proof option Click that block, copy the entire code, and paste it here. If those fields are spread across several Custom Liquid blocks, send each one separately. Please don’t delete the current T-shirt code yet. Once I have the working onesie code, I’ll convert it into one complete T-shirt block with the conditional Front Pocket + Full Back fields and correct cart information.
